Before You Start

Pre-Installation Checklist

Acclimatisation

Store flooring in the installation area for before installation to climatise. Maintain room temperature between 18-24°C and humidity between 35-65%.

Subfloor Preparation

Ensure subfloor is clean, dry, flat, and structurally sound. Maximum deviation of 3mm over 3m. Test moisture levels before proceeding.

Tools & Materials

Have all required tools ready: tapping block, pull bar, spacers, saw, measuring tape, pencil, and appropriate adhesive or fasteners.

Solid Timber

Timber Installation

Secret nailing to timber subfloors or direct stick to concrete. Requires professional installation.

  • Nail-down or glue-down methods
  • Expansion gaps required
  • Not suitable for floating installation
